Background
Back in 1975, as an eight year old boy, I received the best gift from my uncle - a manual Contaflex camera. I started shooting slide film from the first roll, and learned the trade of understanding light and photography concepts. A great school for decades and I remember the feeling at the light board every time a new roll of developed slides had arrived.
Having used Pentax and Minolta's earlier models I ended up with professional Nikon gear in the late 90s, but as the first digital full frame SLRs hit the market I opted for a Canon 5d in 2002, and that's where I've stayed since then.
I am a music teacher as well, but have photographed professionally through my own company for almost 20 years, and specializing in wedding photography I have documented around 250 couples on their big day. A beautiful experience!
I live in Ystad on the south coast of Sweden, but I do weddings everywhere - just get in touch and we'll see what's possible to arrange. Apart from music and photography, I also enjoy traveling the world together with my wife and two daughters. Always accompanied by my 5d Mark IV and my favorite all-in-one lens, the Tamron 35-150/2.8-4.
Philosophy
If you like the style of my pictures I just might be the photographer you are looking for. Just take a look and decide for yourself.
But I think that almost any of the wedding couples I have worked with over the last 18 years would tell you they had a really good time having their pictures taken. I put a lot of effort into making you and your guests feel at ease, and I have kept my full day packages reasonably priced, because that’s what I like to do – stay around for a good while to capture the essence of your celebration without stress, getting comfortable with your family and friends, trying to be there as it happens.
I work with Canon professional gear, and shoot on location. I will be at the site a few hours before you to scout the light and plan the session, so you don’t have to think about anything. Except each other, of course!
